Habitat

Habitat Description: Lowland tropical to subtropical moist forest. Transition from disturbed secondary forest vegetation to old growth forest, upper terrace and dissected terrain.

Soil Description: Soil moist, sandy-loam with some clay content.

Habitat: Terrestrial , Terra Firme Forest

Plant Notes: Small tree 3 m. Floral bracts bright red. Flowers cream to yellow. Growing in understory about 20 m from gap.
