Locality Description: Cultivated plant growing at the Marie Selby Botanical Garden, Sarasota, Florida (SEL Accession number unknown). Wild origin: Panama (Provincia Veraguas).

Botanical Data

Plant Notes: Subshrub with erect shoots. Stems quadrangular. Bracts and calyx lobes wine-red. Corolla reddish-orange and hypocyrtoid. Leaf material collected for molecular systematic studies. Photographs of this collection are in the Gesneriaceae photo file (US).
