Plant Notes: Cultivated herb with erect shoots, 30-40 cm tall. Leaves nearly isophyllous (NOTE: JLC #9833 with leaves strongly anisophyllous); abaxial leaf surface uniformly dark red. Calyx purple; margins entire. Corolla tubular; yellow with purple striations (NOTE: strations shallow and restricted to apical region of corolla) Photographs of this collection are with John L.
