Locality Description: Cultivated. Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, Sarasota, Florida. Accession #: 1975-0090-077A (NOTE: there were two species being grown together that shared this accession #). Wild origin: Venezuela, Estado Aragua.

Botanical Data

Plant Notes: Stems erect to dorsiventral. Leaves with red pubescence on margins. Calyx green with red apices. Corolla tubular; yellow with red trichomes. Annotated as Pentadenia microsepala (C.V. Morton) Wiehler. Leaf material collected for molecular systematic studies. Photographs of this collection are in the Gesneriaceae photo file (US).
