Botanical Data
Plant Notes: Unbranched shrub, 1.5 m tall. Calyx lobes red. Corolla tubular and red; apically pouched on upper surface; appearing laterally compressed. Fruit with reflexed white valves; seeds embedded in fleshy white funiculi. Photographs of this collection are in the Gesneriaceae photo file (US).
