Plant Notes: Terrestrial herb with dorsiventral shoots, 40-60 cm tall. Abaxial leaf surface green with red patch near apex. Bracts and calyx orange. Corolla tubular and yellow. Fruit an oblong orange berry. Photographs of this collection are in the Gesneriaceae photo file (US).
