Botanical Data

Plant Notes: Woody epiphyte. Stems erect, 30-50 cm tall. Abaxial leaf surface green with reddish tinge; venation red. Calyx lobes green; suffused red. Corolla campanulate; white suffused pink; lower region of throat with purple spots; 1.4 cm long; 5 mm wide. Fruit a translucent white berry; globose; apically pointed; 8 mm long; 4 mm wide. Nectary a bilobed gland on upper surface. Calyx lobes spathulate; pink with green apices. Photographs of this collection are in the Gesneriaceae photo file (US).
