Habitat Description: Very wet forest with abundant epiphytes.

Botanical Data

Plant Notes: Terrestrial shrub, 1 m tall. Calyx lobes cucullate and red. Corolla tubular; red with white blotches. Nectary a single-lobed gland on ventral surface. Flowers resupinate. Photographs of this collection are in the Gesneriaceae photo file (US).
