Habitat Description: Tropical evergreen montane forest.
Botanical Data
Plant Notes: Usually an epiphyte, sometimes a scandent terrestrial herb. Locally abundant, but otherwise rare. Only found at higher elevations (>2800 m). Not sympatric with Clark #6232. Flowers axillary; 1 per node; pendent. Pedicels red. Calyx lobes yellow. Corolla bilabiate; yellow; red markings sometimes present on sinuses. Nectary a bilobed gland on dorsal surface.
