This display occurs within the Collections tab of the Collection/Specimen display. It is displayed when a collection number is clicked in the Collection List on the Collections, Images or Map View tabs. It is also the response to a click on "Details" in the Collection List on the Collections tab or Map View tab. The top shows all the identification data for the collection: the collector's name, collection number and the current determination for the collection. Immediately below is the collection date, and the determination information. Additional data for the collection is listed in sections on the Collection Data tab, the specimens that constitute the collection are listed on the Specimens tab and the images for the collection are shown on the Collection Images tab.

The data for the collection displayed on the Collection Data tab is broken down into 5 parts: collection data, locality, habitat, botanical data and other information. The panel does not show fields for which there are no values. To see all the data fields available in each section, see Chapter V-1, Add a Collection and Specimen

Control: View Annotation History. Click "View Annotation History" to see the annotation history for this collection. The Annotation List identifies the current determination. If you have the authorization, it also allows you the opportunity to enter a new determination. See Chapter V-4, Make a Determination for more information about making a determination for a collection.

Click "Edit This Collection" to open a data input panel with the current data values for the collection. There you can change the data as needed and save the changes. See Chapter V-2, Edit A Collection for more information about changing the data for a collection.

Click "Make New Determination" to open a panel in which you can enter a new determination for this collection. See Chapter V-4, Make a Determination for more information about making a determination for a collection.

Click "Export Data" to create a tab-delimited data set with all the data columns in the database and the data value for this one collection. See Output: Tab Delimited File for more information.

Click "Print Labels for This Collection" to format PDF labels for the collection. See Print Labels: for more information.

All specimens for the collection are listed on the Specimens tab.

Click "Edit This Specimen Record" to open an edit panel for the specimen. See Chapter V-3, Edit A Specimen For a Collection for more information on modifying the data for a specimen.

The Specimens tab has the same output options as the Collection data tab above. See the sections on Export Data, Print Labels and Links Outside.

The images for a collection are presented in a mid-size image on the Collection Images tab. Image properties are provided for each image, including the image file name and the date the image was made. The file name identifies the collection it is tied to by the collector's name and collection number.

Controls: Download Image, Zoomable Image. Click "Download mid size image" or "Download full size image" to open the image in a new window, from which it can be saved to a file, printed, exported, etc. using the File menu of the new window. Click "View zoomable image" to open the image in a new window with zoom and navigation controls to allow detailed examination of the image.

Controls: Make an Image the Representative Image. 

Click "this species" to make the image the representative image for the species. Click "this genus" to make the image the representative image for the genus. Click "this family" to make the image the representative image for the family. Only one image can be designated the representative image for a taxonomic entity and the first one set as representative stays such.

Control: Add Data for Images Not Tied To a Collection. 

Click "Edit image record" to add or make changes to the data about the image. This should only be done for images which are added to the Atrium system but NOT tied to a collection. Images tied to a collection do not show any information on this panel, nor should it be entered again. Data must provided separately for each image not tied to a collection.
