Botanical Data

Plant Notes: Female flowers cauliflorous on fasiculated peduncle, arising 5 m above ground from large liana 8.5 cm diam. Two large lianas, climbing to 22 m. Stem green-tan, striped and fissured, peeling in tan strips. Calyx coral-scarlet, corolla yellow-gold. NOTE: This specimen may have been distributed under a collection number (3329) that was accidentally duplicated, thus collection number now appended with a "-P."
