Habitat Description: Small forested swampy area surrounded by tall primary forest. Inundated year-long. Mauritia flexuosa co-dominant with Euterpre, Carapa, and Virola.

Soil Description: Inundated year-long. Mostly clayey with some organic build up. With hummock hill micro topography. Standing water colored orange from iron precipitation.
