Locality Description: Collections along rocky beach of Rio Tunel (Tocohuayco; Toco = hole or tunnel, Huayco = quebrada) below Esperanza and up opposite to road. Wayqecha Cloud Forest Research Station, KosÃ±ipata Valley, between Paucartambo and Pilcopata.

Habitat Description: Moist forest near river climbing to dry hillside toward road. Cloud forest vegetation mixed with grassland.

Botanical Data

Plant Notes: Epiphyte growing in rotten wood next to stream. Infloresence 1.7 meters. Sepals and petals yellow with green base, brownish-purple nerves. Lip triangular, undulate margin, brownish yellow. Callus yellow, brilliant. Column yellow-brown, with yellow apex.
