Locality Description: Cultivated plant growing at the Marie Selby Botanical Garden, Sarasota, Florida (SEL Accession number: 2003-0433A). Wild origin: Costa Rica (Provincia San Jose).
Botanical Data
Plant Notes: Subshrub with erect shoots, 50-60 cm tall. Leaves isophyllous. Calyx green with purple venation. Corolla cream-white on outside and yellow with red splotches in throat on inside. Leaf material collected for molecular systematic studies. Photographs of this collection are in the Gesneriaceae photo file (US).
