Botanical Data
Plant Notes: Shrub, to 2 m tall; sometimes a small herb, 50 cm tall. Undersurface of leaves with reddish-pink tinge, but sometimes completely green. Calyx reddish-purple. Corolla white at base, but mostly dark purple; tubular to funnelform; apically ventricose. Photographs of this collection are in the Gesneriaceae photo file (US).
