Botanical Data

Plant Notes: Epiphyte. Stems erect, 30-40 cm tall. Abaxial leaf surface red. Calyx yellowish-orange. Immature fruit orangish-yellow and cone-shaped. Mature fruit a fleshy dehiscent capsule with reflexed ovary walls (i.e., display-like). Photographs of this collection are in the Gesneriaceae photo file (US).
