Atrium uses cookies that are necessary to sign you in and to keep forms
secure. It can also use cookies that remember your display preferences,
and it can load maps from Google. Those two are off unless you turn them
on. Nothing here measures how you use the site.

Keeps you signed in, protects forms against cross-site request forgery, and remembers this choice about cookies. The site cannot work without them, so they are always on and no consent is asked for.
Cookies: PHPSESSID, atrium_consent, zoomifyImageCopyright
Remembers display choices so they survive between pages: sort order, rows per page, interface language, whether empty taxa are listed, and the username on the login form.
Without these, sorting and paging still work but reset to the default on each new page, and the login form does not pre-fill your username.

Loads interactive and static maps from Google Maps. Sends your IP address to Google and lets Google set its own cookies.
Declining replaces each map with a notice and a button that loads it on request.
