Morphological Description
Diagnosis: This species can be recognized by: thin, weak habit; lack of chlorophyll; reddish-brown stems; small, tubular, lavender to purple flowers with three outer sepals and two inner petals; and acuminate petal lobes. New record for Madre de Dios, Peru, where it has been collected one time from Amazonian aguajal wetlands of the region.
