Vegetative Morphology
Habit: Epiphytes forming fan-shaped growths. Pseudobulbs absent. Roots very fleshy, white.
Leaves: Leaves several per growth, elliptic, subpetiolate at the conduplicate bases, thinly leathery.
Reproductive Morphology
Inflorescence: Inflorescences short horizontal to laxly pendent scapes.
Flowers: Flowers fleshy, fragrant, ivory to yellow, rarely spotted. Sepals and petals subsimilar, subequal, free, spreading. Lip complexely 3-lobed, saccate, rigid-fleshy, with an internal transverse multi-lobed callus crest. Column stout, with a short foot, without wings; pollinia 4, in 2 very unequal pairs, oblong, strongly compressed, sessile on a large common viscidium.
