Botanical Data
Plant Notes: Terrestrial growing in lichens on rock on a steep gradient above Rio Tunel. Inflorescence 1.3 meters. Sepals brownish-marroon with a bit of yellow, with undulate margins. Lateral petals white with brown mottling, margins undulate. Lip yellow-marroon in the apex, with two white appendages that have marroon mottling. Callus white. Column white-marroon apically, and yellow in the base. Habitat very dry; ability to grow in the steep dry gradient in full sun because the roots are crawling up under lichens where it is very wet. Inflorescence with 11 primary branches, each with 1-4 secondary brances.
