Botanical Data
Plant Notes: Terrestrial to scandent subshrub. Calyx uniformly red on outside; inside reddish-green, occasionally green suffused with red. Calyx reflexed in mature flower. Capsule dehisces in two valves (rarely 3). Corolla scarlet red with hirsute pubescence. Photographs of this collection are with John L. Clark (UNA).
