Plant Notes: Subshrub, 40-60 cm tall. Growing on large boulders or limestone cliffs near ocean. Growing in full sunlight or shaded areas. Leaves scabrous, coriaceous, and terminally clustered. Inflorescence branches dark red. Calyx red. Corolla tubular; dorsally red; ventrally green suffused with faint red striations. Fruit a dry capsule with a one-sided beak.
