Locality Description: Cultivated plant growing at the Atlanta Botanical Garden (ABG accession # 91-0146). Wild origin: Ecuador, Provincia Orellana, road towards Loreto.

Botanical Data

Plant Notes: Subshrub with erect shoots, 50-70 cm tall. Calyx dark red. Corolla orange, hypocyrtoid with reddish-lobes. Leaf material collected for molecular systematic studies. Photographs of this collection are in the Gesneriaceae photo file (US).
