Habitat Description: Evergreen montane/premontane wet forest.
Botanical Data
Plant Notes: Semiwoody vine. Common along trail. Vegetatively difficult to distinguish from the equally common Monopyle sp. (cf. Clark#6298). Calyx lobes red and persistent. Nectary with 5 glands. Ovary superior. Fruit a capsule dehiscing on dorsal surface. Photographs of this collection are in the Gesneriaceae photo file (US).
