Botanical Data
Plant Notes: Terrestrial suffrutescent shrub with erect stems to 1.5 m tall. Sometimes an epiphyte with pendent branches.Abaxial leaf surface red. Flowers in axillary fascicles. Pedicels red. Calyx lobes green with red margins. Corolla tubular; green with purple striations. Nectary comprises 5 separate glands. Fruit a globose berry.
