Chapter IX-10. Delete Images

Once it has been determined that an image really does not belong to a collection, it can be deleted from Atrium by anyone with sufficient security clearance. Generally the collection manager is the one to do this.

Delete Image Records


  1. Click Login on the Atrium main navigation bar to log into Atrium. Type your password and click the "Login" button.

  2. Select

    Admin ImagesDelete Records

    from the main navigation bar.

    The Delete Image Records panel opens.

  3. Type an image name in the data entry field. The name is generally the collector abbreviated name without periods, an underscore, the collection number, an underscore, and the image number. The images for a collection are usually numbered consecutively, so the image number is something like "01" or "02". Example of an actual image name: apmeceda_000006_01

  4. Press the Enter key.

  5. Enter the next image name.

  6. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until all the images to be deleted have been entered.

  7. Click the "Process Batch Input" button.

The images are deleted from the Atrium system.
