To change the data for a specimen, you must be logged in. Click "Edit this specimen" on the Specimens Data tab of the Collection Detail display. The Edit Specimen panel with the specimen data opens. You can modify or add information and save the changes, or cancel th changes as desired.
Choose the appropriate phenology stage for the specimen.
Type any identification notes for the specimen.
Select a collection method from the drop-down list.
Select the appropriate auxiliary collection from the drop-down list.
Select the type specimen from the drop-down list.
Click the "Edit collection" button to save your changes, or click the "Cancel" button to return to the Specimens tab without saving any changes made.
The display returns to the Specimens tab of the Collection Detail display.
