The mapping features in Atrium are from Google Earth. Google Earth was developed to use satellite imagery, maps and terrain to present the surface our world in detail. Zooming capabilities allow the user to see any area as broadly or as narrowly as desired. Users of Google Earth provide content overlays to share with others. This facility allows Atrium users to connect with the outside world at large and use the mapping facilities for their own benefit.
