Basilia manu, a new species of nycteribiid is described from Pakitza, Southeastern Peru. Basilia anceps is redescribed on basiss of Venezuelan material. The host and geographic distribution of the Basilica junquiensis species-group is analyzed, and the males and females of the group are characterized.
