Habitat Description: Flooded forest, on soil hummock, climbing a Pourouma, in sun.

Botanical Data

Plant Notes: Climbing trunk to 7-8 m. Leaves entire to 3-lobed, all parts with long white hairs. Stem slender even at base, 5 mm diam., green with white lenticels. Calyx scarlet, corolla lemon yellow. Three inflorescences, oldest with ~70 pedicel scars. NOTE: This specimen may have been distributed under a collection number (3331) that was accidentally duplicated, thus collection number now appended with a "-P."
