Habitat

Habitat Description: Lowland tropical to subtropical moist forest. Disturbed vegetation in and around Aerodromo Los Amigos, on upper terrace.

Soil Description: Poor soil, moist, sandy-loam with some clay content.

Botanical Data

Plant Notes: Growing on brushpile and climbing up 4 m into small trees. Pendulous branch under shade producing pistillate inflorescence at tip, hanging at 2 m. Stem square and hairy-angled; older stems less pubescent. Various leaf shapes, from nearly entire to deeply lobed. NOTE: This specimen may have been distributed under a collection number (3314) that was accidentally duplicated, thus collection number now appended with a "-P."
